Illness Treatment

Illness doesn’t warn you ahead of time. That’s why CHRISTUS Urgent Care offers extended hours. We serve you at times you need attention outside of a doctor’s regular business hours. Plus, we treat a variety of ailments ranging from respiratory illness, skin conditions, allergic reactions and more.

A visit to an urgent care facility (or your regular primary care doctor) is recommended if you experience*:

• Allergic reaction (minor)
• Asthma attack (minor)
• Bronchitis
• Colds, cough, flu, fever
• Conjunctivitis
• Dehydration, nausea, vomiting
• Dizziness
• Ear aches and infections
• Fever
• Insect bites
• Migraine
• Minor burns, including sunburns
• Minor cuts/lacerations
• Pink eye
• Rash
• Sinus infection
• Sore throat
• Sprain or strain
• Urinary tract infection

*Some of the above symptoms can be more severe in pediatric cases, please contact your pediatrician with any concerns.
