Support Programs and Services
Survivorship Program
Once you have completed your cancer treatments (typically about six months after diagnosis), our survivorship specialist will meet with you to provide and discuss your personalized survivorship care plan and treatment summary.
This details your personal cancer information, including cancer pathology, treatments you received or continue to receive, any side effects you have or could expect to have going forward, your emotional well-being, diet, exercise, ongoing cancer surveillance and health maintenance recommendations.
Stronger Together Membership
A discounted fitness membership for oncology patients offered by the CHRISTUS Health and Fitness Center at HealthPark - Herrington-Ornelas
Coping Creatively Art Program
This program uses art and creative expression to help you process the stress and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Sessions are facilitated by a local artist. It's a safe space for creativity to play a role in emotional recovery, providing comfort and connection as you navigate your cancer journey.
Wonders and Worries Program
A program led by a child life specialist to help children and teens understand and cope with a family member's cancer diagnosis through discussions, activities, games, and hands-on experiences.
Support Groups
Each support group will meet throughout the year and will be facilitated by an oncology social worker. There are groups for patients and caregivers of patients.
