Our birthing services in San Marcos are equipped to provide specialized care for premature babies or those needing neonatal support in our Level II NICU. Our experienced neonatologists ensure your newborn baby receives the necessary resources to develop and grow until they are ready to go home.
If your baby requires more advanced care, we have access to CHRISTUS Children's Level IV NICU in nearby San Antonio, which is the highest level of NICU care available.
Our hospital is also designated as a Level II Maternal Care facility, offering specialty care for moms with low- to high-risk conditions before, during, and after delivery. When complications arise, our dedicated team has the expertise and resources to prioritize your health and well-being.

Our birthing class gives you practical tools and clear guidance to help you and your support person understand what to expect during labor and delivery. You’ll learn comfort techniques, how to recognize the stages of labor, and ways your support person can help, so you feel prepared and confident. Each class is designed to empower you with knowledge that makes your birthing experience more comfortable.
Our sibling class is designed to help soon‑to‑be big brothers and sisters understand what to expect and feel excited about welcoming a new baby into the family. Through simple explanations and fun, hands‑on activities, they learn how to safely help, what newborns need, and how important their new role is. These classes help create a smoother transition at home by building confidence, reducing uncertainty, and fostering a supportive, loving environment for everyone.
